On August 4, 2011, MSNBC Hardball host, Chris Matthews served up some harsh advice to President Obama, publicly asking "What does the President plan on doing about the mess we're in?"
Matthews, a supporter of President Obama expressed the out-right frustration many Americans face today. "Where are the jobs?"
According to Matthews, it is time for Americans to stop looking to wall street or corporate america to pull the country out of this mess. We need to look to government to create the jobs, and put people back to work.
Infrastructure jobs are the answer. The country's infrastructure is in desperate need of repair. The roads and bridges, train stations and airports.
He also points out the fact that America is far behind other countries when it comes to high-speed rail.
