It's no secret, most Americans are simply fed up with the economic state of our country.

With 14 million Americans out of work, a tanking real estate market, sky-rocketing grocery, fuel, medical and education cost.

How can we ever get ahead?

Don't bother looking to government for help.

Government on every level refuses to practice fiscal restraint.  Instead, they spend our tax dollars recklessly with little regard for the taxpayer.

To make matters worst, our elected officials (politicians)  seem to be working against what's best for the people.

It's no secret many of them are bought and paid for by special interest groups.

Who's really working for the people?

AMERICAN EXPATRIATES

To some, the "American Dream" is nothing more than a myth.  They've decided to give up the fantasy, and find happiness in another country.

As a community advocate, I've met with hundreds of people.   One of the most common statements I hear are -  "I'm tired of this county.  I should move to Canary Islands, Brazil, Costa Rica, etc..."  "I want to get away from this mess."

It's clear, Americans are angry.

But how many Americans are angry enough to leave the country?

According to Expatica.com, the exact number of Americans leaving the country, and why is unknown.

We were shocked to learn, the U.S. keep statistics on immigration but not emigration.

Is it possible millions of Americans are fleeing the country out of frustration with the economic and/or social issues?

As a fellow American, how do you feel about emigration?

Do you know of anyone that's left the country, or want to ?
