I swear to obey and enforce the divine laws of honorable Roger Claar.   As a devout member of The First Party (code name: Friends of Valley View) I make the following promise:

•  I promise to increase spending and borrowing.  

• I promise to "vote yes" to guaranteed raises for all union staff.  (Come on, it's the right thing to do. The AFT contributed heavily to our campaign.)

•  ...and the most important promise of all?  I promise to ratchet up those glorious legal fees for Tressler, LLP.  Tressler's one of our favorite campaign contributors.

Examine the picture closely. 

Can you guess the name of the gentleman performing the swearing-in ceremony?

His name is Jeff Alperin.  He's an attorney with TRESSLER, LLP.

In fact, Mr. Alperin has a permanent seat on the podium with the school board members, and administrators. 

Curious minds want to know -

1. How much does Tressler charge the school district to have Alperin present at every board meeting?
2. The district clerk (or secretary) normally performs the swearing-in ceremony.  What's really behind the switch? 
3. How much did Tressler charge the district to perform the swearing-in ceremony?
